The Construction of the Ideal City (2021)

城市立基於速度之上，速度是城市生活與城市建設的永恆追尋。塑膠用品以其便利性，成為都市人生活中最迅速的解決方案，成為城市生活與文化的推手。然而，在追尋速度的背後，有多少被迅速遺忘之物？

我以海廢塑料組合出的城市模型，配合three.js即時運算動畫網頁投影與LED探照燈切換，意圖用虛實交錯的視覺經驗，隱喻人類追尋高速生活的背後，其遺忘之物的回返。

Cities are built upon speed, and speed is the eternal pursuit of urban life and urban development. Plastic products, with their convenience, have become the fastest solutions in the lives of urbanites, driving urban life and culture. However, behind the pursuit of speed, how many things have been quickly forgotten?

I have created a city model using ocean waste plastic, combined with real-time computational web projection using three.js and LED spotlights. Through this interplay of the virtual and the real in the visual experience, I intend to metaphorically represent the return of what has been forgotten behind humanity’s pursuit of a fast-paced life.
