李炳曄，1981年生於台灣高雄，新媒體創作者及研究者，作品結合藝術造型、數位科技、自造者精神，喜歡探討資料訊息(Data)在感知空間中的可能性，以及媒體考古學(Media Archaeology)在藝術實踐中的價值。目前任教於國立臺北教育大學藝術與造形設計學系，熱衷於新媒體藝術、互動設計、創客專題之創作與教學，並於研討會與期刊發表研究著作，專長領域包含媒體考古學、開放原始碼文化、互動設計等。

Born in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan in 1981, Ping-Yeh Li is a creator and researcher of new media art. His oeuvre features a mesmerizing fusion of plastic art, digital technology and the maker spirit. He is fond of exploring the possibilities of data in the perceivable space and the value of media archaeology to artistic practices. He currently teaches in the Department of Arts and Design, National Taipei University of Education, Taiwan, devoting himself to the creation and teaching of new media art, interactive design, and maker-oriented projects. In addition, he continually presents his studies at conferences and journals, specializing in media archaeology, open-source culture and interactive design.
